The Royal Gardens is a lovely area ,part of the Prague Castle District ,when we visited in December the whole garden area was covered in a thick blanket of snow and although the gardens couldn't be viewed it still looked amazing and offered great views of the magnificent Prague Castle complex . An very old castle, with interesting architecture. It can be reached coming from Prague by S7 train. It’s a 45 minutes trip. From the train station you have to walk about 2km on a road that climbs a slight slope (on the last portion it becomes a bit steeper). The castle can be visited only on a guided tour.
