The problem is intermittent but is becoming more frequent. When starting I always allow the amber glow plug warning light to go out before attempting to start the engine. The engine always turns over fine, but not always firing up. Sometimes it will start first time, sometimes it won’t.

Good morning, I have a starting problem with a focus 1.8 tdci 2002, I see that it does not show DTC but in the measurement fields it indicates that the PCM verification is incorrect. What is this due to? Did someone attempt a performance flash into the PCM? PCM is 2s4a-12a650-na (DPC-653) ECM is Delphi DDCR Does the PCM have a problem?

Ford Model: FOCUS 1.8 TDCI ZETEC CLIMATE Year: 2006 Location: Cheshire Posted 21 January 2014 - 08:35 PM Hi all, Ford Focus MK2 weird gauges when starting. Hi I have a 54 reg 1.8 tdci ford focus which had the cutting out problem with the glow plug light flashing. Now my trouble started not long after i had my DMF changed. ( Have fun if u haven't Hello All, I have a 2008 mondeo with 1.8 Tdci (QYBA/Lynx). Apparently Mk2 Focus can have the same motor, so I also posted here, as there has been no help else where. First my EGR gave fault code P141A and then the car started to refuse igniting when motor was hot few weeks after that. I blanked the EGR with a steel plate, and the problem got
The 2nd (HP) stage is a cam driven piston pump generating up to 1500Bar. When the IMV is in high flow mode, the HP pistons are pushed back fully. When the IMV is in low flow mode, the pistons can not go far back. So the HP pump is variable displacement, producing, ideally, only the flow that the injectors need.
My mate does custom remaps so I'm looking into getting mine done soon, mine is the same engine as yours and he reckons approx 35-38 BHP gain, and around 50 newton meters of torque,,,, not bad going that, and 10-20% better on fuel too. Posted October 29, 2013. the temp gauge on the dash is connected to the temp sender on the. head (the metal on the head, not the water)- the ECU also uses this for. the engine temp - it (normally) starts at 40 degrees C - the water may. heat up a bit/ you may get a little heat out of the heater before the. gauge moves. Are you sure it's a fault and not the parking light, I'm not sure about your car but on the Fiesta when you pull the switch out it turns on the parking lights. Turn the ignition on to stage 2 and put the car in reverse and see if the bulb works and then put the light switch in park and the car out of reverse and see what it does then. Qq6qTFK.
