While Death Note fans could be waiting indefinitely for the second season of the anime, other adaptations of the original manga have gotten a sequel or two. In the Japanese live-action film series, the first two movies cover the events of the manga but there’s also a spin-off movie titled L: Change The World, a second direct sequel called Death Note is absolutely still good. Genuine classic of anime right there. Big stupid fun. Not really deep but definitely good. I read Platinum End recently and obviously it's no Death Note but I enjoyed it way more than expected given the hate. The premise is ludicrous but I enjoyed the very silly worldviews bouncing off each other. I really liked the show, it makes you think a lot about the definition and differences between good and bad and how easy it is to take the wrong path… Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's iconic Death Note manga has returned with a special one-off volume, Death Note Short Stories, that even includes some tales that have never before been printed in

Does the anime finish where the manga finishes. Or is the anime not complete? Rewatching and heard Ryuk mention he has to stick around till the Death Note is

Light Yagami's death in the Death Note anime differed slightly from the manga version, but the end result is similar nonetheless. Light has a plan to defeat Near, but Teru Mikami's unwise actions give Near the upper hand, exposing Light as Kira. Cornered, Light starts to panic, which gives his enemies the chance to finish him off.

Frankly, the finished ā€œDeath Noteā€ doesn’t merit all the hubbub and hand-wringing. What Wingard has delivered is a fitfully entertaining, clearly compromised hybrid of action, horror and

It's a game about gambling, and halfway throughout the series, the main character experiences physical trauma. Telling you what exactly would be a spoiler. The music composer for this anime is the same as that of death note's. The author of the manga also created Akagi, a similar gambling series. The music for that series is also sick.

The mega-hit series Death Note is undoubtedly in the anime Hall of Fame.It is a classic for a reason, with its complex themes of life and death, intriguing characters, and gripping story-telling.
Final episode disappointing : r/deathnote. Just finished the anime. Final episode disappointing. Light would have a backup plan, also it would have been so easy to write in the death note that the task force would kill near and the others and then commit suicide so easy and clean. Other than that a great anime. Death Note is a complex anime that is so popular that it has been adapted multiple times - nonetheless has flaws in how it presents the story. The plot can occasionally get so convoluted that fans can find some plot points unnecessary and problematic, such as Raye Penber's unprofessionalism during the bus jacking early in the series. Death Note Is A Flawless Anime Until THAT Character Dies. All of Death Note is excellent. I loved it from start to finish. However, I strongly feel as if the show is flawless up until the point L dies. Although the death itself was executed well, the show can't hold a candle to the genius it had when L was on the screen.
