The Ancient Egypt open world setting, a fleshed-out and a brilliantly acted protagonist in Bayek, a more action-adventure experience than a RPG one, and the great world simulation mechanics easily place Origins head and shoulders over its successors, Odyssey and Valhalla.
Install the latest update, which can be done by navigating to your launcher (probably Ubisoft Connect) and ‘checking for updates’. Switch to Windowed Mode, which is a common fix for Ubisoft games that are constantly crashing. This can be done in the game’s main menu before entering the game itself.

I installed Assassins Creed 3 remastered on the ps5 and honestly it looks terrible. I tried messing with the HDR settings but couldn't find anything that even looked remotely decent. I liked Origins the most out of the RPG Assassin's Creed trilogy, but Odyssey wasn't too bad either. It was Valhalla that made me hate this formula. Like I've mentioned, my all time favourite in the AC series is Syndicate and given that Mirage has a very similar gameplay, I enjoy it very much.
Tip: always go through all the options as soon as possible with any game. I turned the subtitles on so I could see the translation of the Egyptian words they use and because I play with the volume lower at night so not to wake my roommate. Subtitles are intrusive as hell.
I have been hearing about how great the DLC is for this game and want to purchase it. The dlc by itself is $35 but if I buy the gold edition of this game it is $24 and it comes with a season pass. My question is if I buy the ac gold game will the dlc be able to be used for my current game or will I have to play the game again on the gold

Recently bought a used version of the game and installed it on my PS5. I can only get to the tutorial and then it crashes, forcing me to stop the application. Only when I do that does it tell me 'somethinf went wrong with this application'. I have seen one other person with an identical issue so I don't think it's a disc scratch.
