2.2 Tdci Starter Motor Removal. My starter motor has packed up on my 2008 Mondeo 2.2Tdci Titanium X and I'm struggling to remove it. I have unbolted it but it won't go far enough back to pull it out. I've taken out the fuel filter and turbo boost pipe to improve access and I've been wiggling it all ways and can't work out how it comes out.

They traced the leak to one of the pipes going into the oil cooler, and the other pipe had a whacking great bulge in it. So £15 + VAT and £27 + VAT plus there labour of £48 + VAT per hour I am guessing the bill will be around the £110-£120 mark, as the guy said it could take up to an hour and a half lol.

I ended up with a mk3 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi, 115PS, 2006-plate hatchback in green. Great cosmetic condition, 136,000 miles on the clock, with no service history apart from last MOT (March 15), which it passed with a couple of advisories, one of which is the noise I'm asking about here.
Ford Mondeo Mk3 2.0/2.2 TDCi 2001 model year (before and after restyling in 2003) So it should work! For the Android version, it's planned, but no release date actually( FAQ page on website say: 'after FORScan 2.0').

dojj. 4173 posts · Joined 2006. #6 · Oct 25, 2022. The rear subframe, if you can find one from Ford, was around £400 last time I enquired. Everything that bolts to it can be bought aftermarket but the subframe itself is the thing. You build the entire rear end then bolt it into place.
james125. Earlier this year my father purchased a 2004 MK3 Ford Mondeo Estate Ghia with the Duratorq 2.0 TDCi 115hp engine. The car had done 110,000 when he bought it and had a full Ford service history. Seemed like a good buy and I recommended it to him and even lent him some cash for it.
yes best to monitor it you dont want to do a job you dont really have to do. its common to find liquids on or around the rocker cover, most of the time its old spils or spils from taking things off to do jobs. 51 plate ghia x tddi with extra oomph. Boost Pressure = ( (MAP x 10) - BARO)/6.895 (use with F-Super readings)
Note - in the OPs avatar, it says "Mondeo Estate TDI" (2004) it is not a TDI, it is a TDCI (a different model/ engine type, with completely different, incompatible injectors, TDCIs are Delphi, TDIs/ TDDIs are Bosch, TDCIs need to be coded, TDDIs do not, TDIs were not produced in 2004 etc, etc,
